Pathways Skills Academy (PSA) has been established to streamline our operations and give our schools’ provision the spotlight and recognition it deserves.
We have delivered construction and mechanics qualifications to schools since 2019. Due to demand, we have now added Bricklaying and Hair and Beauty courses. We were asked to provide recognised qualifications to learners who had barriers to success and who wanted the learning to have a more practical emphasis.
Since this time, our provision has gone from strength to strength, and we deliver qualifications to approximately 100 learners across an academic year, adapting teaching and learning to meet individual needs.
We have staff who specialise in supporting learners with conditions like Autism, ADHD, Irlen’s Syndrome, etc., and regularly provide CPD and further training, to ensure that, as an organisation, we can effectively adapt and respond to additional learning needs.
